Anyways.....I wanted to get on here to comment on this movie that i watched called "trust the man" Okay so when D brought this home and said this is for you all I could think is why because judging from the case it just doesn't look all that appealing. We are always teasing each other about picking out not so entertaining movies and I'll admit that I've won that one fair and square......I will never admit to that though. So anytime i get to give him a hard time about a horrible choice I do. I teased him all last nite about it and when he walked in LOL. Yeah once again judging the book by its cover or rather the DVD and ended up with my foot in my mouth. This movie was HILARIOUS!!!! It made me cry and it made me laugh......wow....yeah i know that sounds super cheesy but it's so true you have to go and rent it. It's definitely worth your time. I wouldn't classify it as a chick flix you and hubby can watch it. I think it really shows how real relationships go through problems and even though we aren't perfect we still love each other.Well I'm going to get off of here and go to sleep and cuddle up to my super handsome hubby he he. Early morning tomorrow totally procrastinated and need to get this Stemma layout done.

So far I'm loving school! I'm learning so much right now and I'm enjoying every step even though Office 2007 almost made me take my lap top and smash it into a million tiny little pieces! So frustrating it looks neat but doesn't operate exactly like the my old version and thats what I'm used to........Say it with me WOOOO SAAAAHHHH......it's all good he he LOL.

Lets see what else did I do today oh I took Chervonne's braids down and washed her hair. For all of you that don't know that's a job! Oh gosh it takes sooo long! So she will be sporting her two french braids until I can get the time to spend another 3 hours braiding her up again.

I love her french braids though too cute on her! She loves swingin her beads though you can't tell her she ain't all that! Oh yeah Saturday I went to my red hat meeting and when i got back my husband said that the kids were calling each other mediocre......I thought I'd roll over and die when he told me that LOL They are always saying something children are soo entertaining!

A real quick quirky fact about me and my DH: He waxes my eye brows! Alot of women freak out when i tell them this. He actually does a really good job at it, I think it builds our trust. Give it a try if you dare! Side note he's an artist.

Star struck and disapointed

OK so on a semi sour not I didn't make the dt at www.scrapologie.com but you should go see who they picked OMG they rock! NO wonder I didn't get picked! I need to establish my stuff a little more and that's cool no hard feelings at all. I'm still fabulous through and through ;) LOL So anyways if you look under my entry WOO HOO at the comments Amber Skolnic left a comment about my scrap jack that I did of her! Now that's something coming from her because her work is just ridiculous in a super awesome way she goes hard. So anyways what to do now?.....DUH enter for another team they can't keep passing up my incredible talent huh huh.......LOL. One thing I can admit is that doing the entries are so FUN if you ever thought about doing it you have to get in there. Nothing like stretching your creativity! I'm telling you it's sooo worth every second of it! Until next time peace and a bottle a hair grease......oooo I'm soooo hip HAHA LOL!

Is it possible?

Is it possible to turn scrapbooking into a career? I ask myself this over and over again and I just keep coming up with the same thing over and over again. It's gotta be a way. I don't know how to do it whether it's a combination of magazine submital, doing your own kit club, scrapbooking for hire or if it's just one of these. Who knows?!?! All I know is that I LOVE this and some how i'll figure it out. Some say  "just scrapbook for fun", but see that's what i'm talking about doing what you LOVE!

I know people will say i love doing this hobby or whatever but for me it's so much more. I love this with every ounce of my being. I'm now taking college courses in design yep it's that important to me it's my thing. I want to wake up and design and to feed my family from this that's heaven. This is what i want my career to be. Why not? Why not get up every morning and LOVE what you do? Thats the life for me and I know that it's going to happen. I have no clue how but it will because i want it to. I don't even know how long but it will happen. Maybe it sounds ridiculous to some my husband just kind of chuckles but hey dreams come true and I know that mine will too. Makes me just ecstatic to even think about it. Anyways i'm gone for the nite gotta do some reading. Catch you on the flip side.

My valentines celebration

This is exactly 5 days late LOL. I had intended to do this the next day but you know how it ;) So this is how we spent our Valentines Day.

First when Chervonne came home she was so excited about the day and came home and shared her candy with her brother and sister. When she was giving it out she said I love you soo much. How sweet is that?!?! I hope she never loses that.

Then me and D drove to Salinas with the intention of taking them all out to nice restaurant. Umm yeah how about every place was PACKED!!! So that was a definite no go so they all got Jack in the box they were happy. D and I stopped by this new restaurant which I was totally skeptical about and talked trash about how it looked the WHOLE time it was really funny!  But I soon was eating my words and the BEST food that I had eaten in a long time. It was Ecuadorian (sorry if that's the wrong way to say it) Oh my goodness if you've never tried it you just don't know what your missing. D also picked up a steak (he's the master at cooking steaks) shaped like a heart awwww and we sat in front of the t.v. and feasted LOL. It was nice we talked about all the past Valentines days too. Can't believe all the years that have passed.

But thats how it is time flies and love grows stronger. That's how it has been for us anyways. Here's to 60 more valenitnes days at the minimum I love you baby!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines day! So love birds what are your plans? We have no baby sitter so we will be doing our date late at nite when the kids are fast asleep. We usually tire them out and then have a romanic dinner and after party ;)

Today is Chervonne's very first Valentines day party. She took all her valentines and a ton of chocolate i'm not going to her party but i bet she will have fun. I know that i'm going to have a sugared up kid when she gets home!

I got some things done today!

I did get some layouts in my gallery today WOOO HOOO!!!!! My computer is totally acting very moody so thats all i was able to do. I will be putting up my journaling soon i promise! OKay so lets get the run down on all I accomplished today....

1. I got 2 layouts done my entry for the dt at www.scrapologie.com (for all of you from scrapologie you have to figure out which ones are for the contest i'm not telling ;) )

2. Got all my school stuff in

Okay i know it dosen't sound like alot but it is! Considering the kids procrastination and all that .......Procrastination is really important it helps you to do absoulutely nothing at all! Yeaaaahhh I gotta work on that. Well I'm off to catch up on ALOT of cleaning so that I can get a good start in the morning. Translation i'm going to just tidy up and go to bed i'm soooo sleepy!

Since i've been here and kept up with blogging for a while now i decided to spruce it up a little untill I can do better. Look at that sexy sistah up there! LOL My sweet hubby took that picture for me and I thought it the best one of the ones we did. More changes to come and i'm sure that i'll change the banner a plenty!

Creative over haul

I'm soo proud of myself! I know that my post are far in between BUT I have still have my blog and i'm posting stuff in here a few times a month thats a step up for met BIG TIME!!!! Now that I have some consistency here i'm thinking i'm going to actually add some ppl on here!

Okay so  more about my fabulous creative life!!!!

Okay well it's fabulous and creative to me! So i decided to buy me some new paper and supplies to fit my current style of "making me happy". Keepin in mind  that every thing that i had was ANCIENT really vinatage and throwback....I think that's "IN" right? SO anyways it was time to get rid of it all or most of it anyway. Yes you will still see some oldies but goodies on my layouts there are some things that can still have some good use.

A little history on why all of this is so dang important to me. I'm not at all famous by any means but if you have ever looked at my gallery at www.scrapsahoy.com you will see that my style has had a HUGE over haul! Now I love all those layouts over there too it's just that they weren't ME. I used to just see what every body else was doing and then go off of that. Well not having a printer made me hand write every thing and then from there I started drawing (doodling) on my pages from there i started hand writing my own titles if it felt right and before you know it i was doing whatever i wanted and it feels GREAT!!!!!!!! I'm now in love ALL over again!

So more on my shopping! I used to have a problem with that too but not so much anymore never knew what i wanted or what to pick let alone what was me. I've hit another milestone I know what I like LOL. THere are tons of nice paper and things like that to choose from but these are what clicked with me.
